Campuso Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and [legal company name] ("Campuso", "we"), [registered address], Nigeria. By creating an account you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy.

1. Who can use Campuso

You must be a current student or staff member of a university on Campuso, signed up with your own university email.
You must be at least [16] years old.
One person, one account. Don't share your login or sign up as someone else.

2. Your content

You own what you post. You give Campuso a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, show and distribute it inside the app so the service works. That includes showing it to members of your university.
You are responsible for what you post. Don't post anything you don't have the right to share.

3. Rules

Don't use Campuso to:

harass, bully, threaten, or post hate speech;
share someone's private information or intimate images;
post illegal content, scams, impersonation or spam;
cheat in exams or sell exam materials;
post false information that could harm someone's reputation, including in confessions;
break, scrape or overload the service, or get around its security.

We may remove content and suspend or ban accounts that break these rules. Where possible, we will tell you why.

4. Confessions and whistleblowing

Confessions are anonymous to other users, but not to Campuso. We can identify the author when content is illegal, threatening or harassing (see the Privacy Policy). Confessions are reviewed before they appear, and we may decline any confession.
Whistleblow reports must be made in good faith. Knowingly false reports may lead to a ban. Campuso is not an emergency service. If someone is in danger, contact the police or campus security.

5. Wallet, boosts, badges and gifts

Your wallet holds naira you top up through Paystack. It is a prepaid balance for use inside Campuso. It is not a bank account, and it does not earn interest.
Prices for boosts (₦500 standard, ₦2,000 premium, for 24 hours), verified badges (blue ₦1,900/month, green ₦4,499/month) and video calls are shown before you pay. We may change prices for future purchases.
Badge subscriptions renew monthly from your wallet until you cancel. If the balance is too low, the badge lapses.
Transfers and gifts to other users are final once sent. Check the username before you confirm.
Refunds: completed boosts, badge months and calls are not refundable unless the service failed to deliver them. [Withdrawals of unused wallet balance: describe the process, or state that balances cannot be withdrawn.]
We may freeze a wallet that we reasonably suspect is linked to fraud while we investigate.

6. Staff gold badge

Gold badges are granted free to verified university staff and officials by Campuso administrators. We may remove them if the holder's role ends.

7. Availability and changes

We work to keep Campuso running, but it is provided "as is", without a guarantee that it will always be available or error-free.
We may change or stop features. If a change materially affects paid features you have already paid for, we will give you a fair remedy.

8. Liability

To the extent Nigerian law allows, Campuso is not liable for:
- indirect or consequential losses;
- content posted by other users;
- losses caused by you sharing your login.
Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid Campuso in the [12] months before the claim.

Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Act 2018.

9. Ending your account

You can stop using Campuso at any time, and ask us to delete your account at https://app.campuso.ng/delete-account (see the Privacy Policy).
We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.

10. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Contact us first at [support@campuso.ng] so we can try to resolve any dispute. If that fails, the courts of [Lagos State] will have jurisdiction.
